Sashi is a Team Lead on Development Finance within USAID’s Private Sector Engagement Team. She provides technical and strategic advice to USAID countries on development finance, impact investing and entrepreneurship.
Sashi brings 18 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of projects focused on private sector development, impact investing, women’s economic empowerment, and financial
inclusion. Previously, Sashi led technical support and consulting in economic development and financial inclusion work with USAID implementing partners. She has also worked on structuring financial transactions using guarantees, human centered product design for new markets, and product development for financial institutions in Africa and Asia.
She holds a MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
