Ms. Tamuna Koriauli holds the position of Head of the International Relations Department at the Georgian National Tourism Administration. She is responsible for the development of international relations as well as cooperation with partner countries and organizations in the field of tourism development.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Koriauli has developed an interesting and extensive career in the public sector. From 2014 until 2016, Tamar Koriauli served as the Chief Officer of the Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia. In the timeframe of 2017-2018, she held the position of the International Relations and Project Manager at the Agency of Protected Areas, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
During her professional career Ms. Koriauli had an opportunity to work with governmental and international organizations and at the same time participated in various significant projects and activities. She obtained good managerial and analytical skills that provide her with theoretical and practical insights into spheres related to international relations, tourism management, and sustainable development.
Ms. Koriauli holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in International Relations from American University for Humanities and a Master’s Degree (LLM) in European Union Law and Policy from Riga Graduate School of Law.
She is fluent in Georgian, English, and Russian.
