Since November 2017, Mrs. Tatiana Ivanicichina holds the position of State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, responsible for budgetary policies.
Among the main responsibilities are ensuring the drafting and approval of the medium-term budgetary framework, annual budget law, and promoting reforms in the PFM area, more specifically related to budget planning. Has also an active role in maintaining an active dialogue with the main development partners, as the IMF, World Bank, EU Commission, EBRD, EIB.
Mrs. Tatiana Ivanicichina has been working at the Ministry of Finance since January 2010. Started working in the public debt department, with the main responsibility of risk analysis of the debt portfolio, and drafting the medium-term debt strategy. After graduating Columbia University in 2015, has been appointed as deputy head of the public debt department, and in 2016 transitioned to the position of head of the budget synthesis department.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Tatiana Ivanicichina, graduated the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova, with a title of Licentiate in Economic Sciences (program Finance and banking), in 2009, and a title of Master in Economic Sciences (program Investments and capital markets) in 2011.
Between 2014 and 2015, completed a Master of Public Administration – Program in Economic Policy Management at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, New York. The master program has been sponsored by the Fulbright Student Program (US Government) and the Joint Japan-World Bank Scholarship (awarded to professionals from developing countries). During the master program, has completed a 3-month internship at the Development Economics Vice Presidency (DEC) of the World Bank, in Washington, DC.
